How to remove a link card cover (preview image)?

I added a card that's just a Google Sheet link. 
I really like that it populates the name of the document but it creates a "preview image" at the top of the card, making the card larger. I don't want that. 

How do I remove the auto-generated preview image from the linked card?

Is there a way to disable the thumbnail for a specific card?
I don't want to disable them for the entire board.
