How to integrate Trello with email

I often have Trello cards that provide just the basics of a task that needs doing, and where the full details are in an email. I'd like to be able to do something like forward the email to Trello and create a new card, or fwd to an existing card in Trello, or in some other way connect the two. I use Thunderbird for my email.

Thank you for these links, some of which I did find myself.

They come close to what I'm looking for but I do see potential security risks:

"When you send an email to Trello, a copy is kept on our servers for 90 days. The original email is also attached to the card so you can always refer back to it."

Keeping company email on external servers is not permitted, or wise.
