How to delete the checklist field on Trello

Hi I have mistakenly added checklist after checklist and would like to delete them now.

There's instruction on how to delete a checklist at https://help.trello.com/article/737-adding-checklists-to-cards

Deleting

Delete a checklist you no longer need by clicking "Delete..." to the right of the checklist name. Delete a checklist item by clicking the item to edit it, then clicking "Delete" in the bottom right.

Why then isn't there an index item for Delete? We are not all programmers, we think like mere mortals.
