Welcome to the community,
You need to remove the user from the board/Workspace.
The easiest way would be accessing the Workspace member section, checking for the user on the tabs Members and Guest, and removing them once you found their account:
If the user is a Workspace member, pay attention to the option to remove the users from the boards as well.
