Hi All,

Im looking the forum for a usefull answer. But cant find it.

What i found is that the old function of Butler could do this. But since this is intergrated in Trello, not.

Hopefully there is a sollution for this. Maybe a powerup. But i need help with this.

Thanks in Advance

Roy

Hi Roy,

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I understand that when you copy a card with checked checklist items, the items on the new card appear unchecked. Currently, there isn't a built-in UI setting to keep those items checked during a manual copy.

However, I have a workaround that might work well for you! You can create a Card Button automation to handle this. Once you've copied the card, you can simply click the button to instantly re-check the items.

Here are the example rules you could use:

  • Check all the items in all the checklists on the card.

  • Check all the items in checklist "checklistName" on the card.

For more details on setting this up, please check out our documentation here: Create and manage automations | Trello | Atlassian Support.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you!
