How to Unmerge Cards in Trello

Hello, 

    My team mate accidentally merged two cards with the new feature and needs to unmerge them. Can you assist me in this please?

Hi @Joseph Mueller, the two originals aren't gone. A merge archives them rather than deleting them, so they're both sitting in the board archive and either of you can pull them back. Undo won't do it for you, since merges aren't on Trello's list of undoable card actions.

Open the board menu, pick Archived items (under More if you're on an older menu), and each card has a Restore link under it.

Restoring them won't clear up the card the merge made, so read that one before you archive it. It keeps the original content in its description.

To stop it happening again, the off switch is AI features at workspace level, which takes merge and everything else AI with it. TRELLO-1824 is an open request for a per-board one.
