Hi! I am very new to this and charged with integrating Trello into our start-up hardwood flooring business. As a trade-only resource, we procure relationships with interior designers, architects, and builders who basically sell our products to their clients. Our brick and mortar galleries are often visited by the clients of our clients to view samples, choose colors, etc. To provide the best possible service to everyone, we would like to create a CRM that speaks not only to our personal clients, but to their clients as well.
Thank you for your help!

Hi @Leanne Rich
Christl from Email for Trello here 👋 welcome to the community!
I'm sure you are going to love Trello - it is super flexible and customisable. It might be worth getting in touch with a Trello expert/consultant (see a full list here) - they have great tips and extensive experience in creating custom solutions using the Trello ecosystem (workflows, automations, Power-Ups etc.) @Daydreamer Mike I'm sure you have some useful advice on building a CRM in Trello?

Thank you for your response. I would love to learn more about the existing Power-Ups available that would best match our needs.

I have worked on all 3 solutions mentioned by the other respondents at some point over the past years.
In your post you mentioned that you wanted
What is the best way to link contacts in Trello? Can we nest our clients' clients under each account for easy access?
Specifically for this requirement, I find that Contalist power up to be helpful since you can associate different contacts on the same card (eg an enquiry) and you can invoke email actions specific to the contact type eg. you can welcome an end user enquiry and use it to direct that enquiry/opportunity to one or more clients leveraging on its email templates and automation.
Technically it can use used with any of the other solution eg use Hipporello service desk and to trigger service requests at the backend to other service providers. The front end service request will create via api to set the end user in Contalist while the clients are manually set against the card depending on the specifics of the user enquiry.

👋 Hi @Leanne Rich
Alberto here from Crmble. Trello lets you, in fact, build a CRM system by combining several Power-ups or by using a more comprehensive all-in-one solution like Hipporello. With both, you can achieve excellent results. If you need to manage contacts, you might also want to look into our all-in-one solution power-up Crmble.
I leave a link to one of our CRM/Sales templates so you can try it out for free for 21 days.
Cheers!
Alberto ☺️
