How do i delete trello? I JUST WANT IT DELETED

I have spent more than an hour trying to figure out how to delete my trelllo account that I created by mistake and now I am stuck with the account that I don't want my name to be attached to.

I am on the free plan - but when i go to my atlassian account to delete it, it informs me that there are charges due .When i go to see how much i owe, there are no invoice or information on the amount due.

it's crazy that you can't get in touch with someone to help quickly resolve this. the AI chat bot is not helpful.

Hi,

Try deleting your Trello workspace:

1. Click on the Trello icon in the upper left corner:

2. Click on the Settings link in the left-hand sidebar: Screenshot 2026-09-02 at 9.58.10 PM.png

3. Scroll down and click the Delete this workspace? link:

Then try deleting your Atlassian account again.

Hi,

Though you're on a free plan, if the subscription is active, account cannot be deleted.. you need to wait until the subscription gets inactive. 

FYI.. 

You cannot delete just the Trello account if you're using other apps like Jira or Confluence.

Go to admin.atlassian.com and Billings section and see if you have option to deactivate.
