How do I add Atlassian acc to my authenticator on my phone. My phone asks for a QR code.

Have you followed the official instructions stated here: Manage two-step verification for your Atlassian account 

Note that if your phone's camera cannot scan the QR code, most authenticator apps allow you to "Enter a setup key" manually. You can find this text-based key option near the QR code on the Atlassian setup page.

Also, a question: are you using a specific authenticator app?
