How do I sort a list on Trello by most recent update to a card?

How do I sort a list on Trello by most recent update to a card? I feel like the Trello team is not using Trello enough that they don't understand this basic function. The last time this question was asked was in 2022 and it's now 2025 yet that feature was not added in the recent trello update (which didn't really make sense TBH). For the Trello developer it's 2025, try reading questions and focus on basic needs.

I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, Trello doesn't currently have an option to sort cards by the most recent update directly. A workaround is to manually move updated cards to the top of the list, but that's not efficient for larger boards.

You can also use filters to view recently updated cards, but it won’t sort them. Power-Ups like Butler can help automate actions based on card activity, but they don’t offer sorting by recent updates.
