How do I remove an automation rule created by someone else on the board?

My colleague set up most of our Trello-boards, and made it so cards get copied from the 'daughter boards' to the 'mother board'. Now, one of the daughter boards needs to be disconnected from the main board. Normally my colleague would take care of it, and simply remove the automation rule, but he is no longer working with us.

How can we still remove the automation rule?

Hi Janneke,

If your Workspace is on the Free plan, a Workspace admin alone probably cannot disable another user’s automation.

Trello’s Automation Admin controls for viewing and disabling other users’ automations are listed for Premium Workspace and Enterprise admins. On Free Workspaces, being a Workspace admin also does not automatically give admin control over all boards.

The practical option is to have a current board admin remove the former colleague from that daughter board. Trello’s documentation says that when a member is removed from a board, automations they created on that board are also removed.

Please note that this may remove all automations created by that person on that board, not only the copy rule, so it is worth checking the board first.
