How do I prevent my Mac jumping to the Trello app when I quick add a card?

Recently I've noticed that when I used the Quick Add shortcut to add a new card, it makes the Trello app the active app. How do I change the behaviour back to NOT bringing Trello front and centre?

I want to be able to add a card whilst I'm working on something else without Trello appearing on top of the work I'm doing. This is something I have always valued with Trello that no other app seems to do, so it would be a great shame if Trello no longer does this. 

I've re-installed following the recommended steps but it hasn't solved the problem.

Is this happening on Trello APP mobile or desktop? I will try to reproduce the issue here and see if is there any workaround.
