How do I make attachments WORK

When I attach from computer, I can't download the file. 

When I try to attach from drive, the file explorer sucks, it puts all folders together, and it does't find anything on search bar. This is trully anoying, I would be fine searching manually.

Please, Any advise to make the attachments work??

Could you tell me what you're doing to download the document?

When I click on a PDF document on my card, I get a box all around the outside and when I move the cursor I get a download button on the right that looks like:
