How do I copy a gmail email onto a trello card?

I use Gmail and sometimes I want to connect or attach a copy of an email to the Trello card so that I have record of the email to reference later.  How do I do this?

I use the Gmail add on , however, when I'm ready to act on the card, it does not connect me back to the email
