It depends a bit on some details not provided above (what is the definition of a 'project for a client'?).. is a project a card with a specific label/custom field, a list, an entire board or something else)
If it example is all the cards on a board with a certain label, then a Batch Update tool like this could do it: https://trellotools.azurewebsites.net/BatchUpdate
If not please describe your setup and definition of client and project a bit more
