How do I add, remove or reformat the columns in a table

Reed August 2, 2023

Help!

We use Trello for manufacturing custom picture frames. We created a Board with elaborate cards that work pretty well. It even serves as a basic CRM. We love tables, but no one in my team can figure out how to modify the one table that's available

Is the any way to delete, add, or change the width of the columns in a Trello table?

Is there any way to print a Trello table other than a screen print?

Would an add-on program like Zapier solve my problem?

Thanks!

Hi @Masten Framing

The Trello table view is fairly basic and rigid, by design I think. It is designed for simplicity...

I recommend you look into using the Table View power-up to give you greater flexibility, including filters, custom field support, selecting which columns to view, changing column widths and exporting to CSV

Note: This power up requires a subscription to the TinyPowerUp Club. I am not affiliated with the power-up.

Not the answer I had hoped, but very happy to have a solution Thank you

I just got the power-up. Thank you! Very reasonably priced. Seems do a fairly good job of what I needed. Also has some surprises I like!

Do you know if you can print the table without exporting it to Excel?

You can print but it will only print what is in view, it won't scale to fit the table on the page.  If you don't have too many fields, you could do it...

By the way, if you go with the subscription, the other little gems in the Tiny Powerups Club that I find useful are:

  • Advanced Card Covers
  • Saved Filters
