Is there anyway for me to be informed about all changes that occured across all boards in one place? Do i really have to check the activity log of every single board to know about the changes that might have occured? And what constitutes a notification? Checking all items on a checklist to fully complete a task does not seem to be worthy of a notification on trello.
Also if copy a card frm one board and paste it on another board, is there any way for the copied board to be automatically updated if changes are ade to the original card in another board? Do i have to remember which board the card was originally on and manually update it everytime?
Someone please help me. This current system seems to be inefficient to me and actually ends up wasting my time which is very counter productive to the reason why i started using trello in the fist place.
Hi Alicia
Any notification that is triggered for you will be seen in your notification center. The notification center is account specific, not board specific, so all notifications across all boards will appear there.
Notifications are based upon subscription to the board, list or card and are triggered for specific actions that other users take (no action that you perform will trigger a notification). The full list of those notifications can be found here.
In order to get cards to update based on another card, you need to use the Board Sync by Unito or the Card Sync power up
Hey Matthew
thanks for your reply. The notifications being account specific is what i expected. But that is not what is happening to me here. It is indeed board specific. I can only view notifications once i enter a board. The notification icon on my Trello homepage is completely inactive and only shows that i have a notification once i enter a board. It only has notifications pertaining to that specific board.
Maybe i have to tinker around with some settings? It would really expedite the process is someone could tell me exactly what settings i have to change as opposed to me going through each and every aspet of the settings menu.
Thanks for the info on the power up.
