How can be avoided not relevant parts of answer?

Réti Péter
February 11, 2025

When a member receives an automatic email about a new activity on a card and replies to it, but not with trello then with an answwer mail, the response appears on the Trello card along with a lot of additional information, not just the reply message itself, which is very distracting.
How can be avoided the not relevant but automaticly parts of that answer?

Hi Réti,

Thank you for reaching out to the community. Not sure if this works on any email client, but on Apple's Mail, if you select a portion of the text of the message you'd like to reply to before clicking the reply icon, the message will only contain that selected text and not the whole thread history. Maybe this could work.

Give it a try and let us know. I will try it on Gmail and post back.

Cheers!

@Alberto Estévez Nice thinking! I didn't know that about Apple's email client. Really cool!
