Hello! I've had success tracking my ad buys in a Trello board (business class). Each buy has a start and end date and I'd like to create a report or visualization that shows the duration of each ad on a timeline. I thought Gantt, but can't find any Power Ups that truly pull from custom fields. They all seem to have a more complicated calculus. On a very tight budget. Free and automated is my winning combo. Any ideas?
Does anyone from Trello monitor this forum?!. A card needs a due date AND a duration. Surely this basic, essential aspect of project management can be sorted by Trello without the need for third party add ons!!
This post did receive a prompt reply, but it does seem that a very simple project management need isn't met with the basic product (nor really with add-ons, that I have found).

@[deleted] Placker is the best gantt charting tool for Trello, it works with the due date of the card, but allows you to set a start date stored internally at Placker (not in a custom field). I don't think they have a free plan, but the cost is relatively low.

Thank you, Iain. For longevity of data storage, I don't want to enter information into fields controlled by a proprietary, paid app. Really hoping there's a solution that will visualize custom field data. It may mean I have to export to CSV and manipulate from there. Hoping that's not the case, but I may have no other choice. I work in higher ed, where we count our pennies.

harvest doesn't appear to pull from Custom Fields . . . for longevity of data storage, I don't want to enter information into fields controlled by a proprietary app.
Still looking, but thank you.

I did follow your second link and find another very helpful powerup that I didn't know existed!
