How can I report on board data?

Hi - I'm trying to do some simple reporting on data from my team's Trello boards - for example, how many cards are in a given list.

It appears that you can export board data as JSON without being Business Class (you must be Business Class to get it as CSV). I'm familar with reporting but don't have experience using this type of data, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how best to run reports on a JSON file. Thank you.
