How can I permanently delete a repeating card?

I set up a repeating card a while ago but now I need to delete it.  I’ve tried all the suggestions listed in the community.  When I search for the card, I find multiple versions of it (all archived).  I’ve been through every instance and deleted each one individually, but they just keep coming back.  I tried to find the “original card” (per community suggestions), but when I click on that link in the Activity section, it says the card is on a workspace that I can’t access, because it’s private (or something like that).  It comes up with an error message on the app, saying “there was a problem loading the requested card.  Please ensure the link is correct and try again”.  Also tried on the web but no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

@Andy Harris do you know anyone in the workspace/board that has that original card you can't access? Or are you able to see that? 

Do you have the card repeater power-up on your board? What happens if you remove that power-up?

I’m the only person on the board so there is no one else that could have “the original” card….I must have created it myself.

I guess I can try turning off the card repeater power up, but I do have other cards that need to repeat.  I’ll give it a go.  Thanks.

@Andy Harris i'd recommend turning it off and using Trello Automation to set up repeating cards. It's easier to customize and keep track of : https://trello.com/guide/automate-anything#calendar-and-due-date-commands

Have you checked your automations?
I think you might have some automation that periodically creates this card.

Thanks for the quick response.  I checked all my automations by clicking the little lightning bolt symbol on Trello web.  I have several other automated card creations, but the specific one I’m trying to delete is definitely not there…I checked three times.

Is there some other way I might have created an automation in the past?
