I started this account about six years ago with an email that no longer exist. So when I try and login now it sends a verification code to the original email, which no longer exist. I need to get into my Trello account for work ASAP. How can I do this now that my original email no longer exists?

You will need to setup the email account again to access your account. If you are unable to do that then you will need to create a new Trello account and start over in Trello.
