How can I edit trello card in markdown mode (not that crappy "see what you get" editor)?

I can "see" the card in mark down, how can I edit the markdown! I don't want to learn yet another "see what you get editorä" (that requires you to click on the right pixel).

Simple answer....you can't

The only way is to:

1. view the field's text in markdown format
2. copy that text and paste it into a text editor,
3. edit that text in that editor
4. copy that edited text and paste it back into the field, thereby over-writing the old text.
