How can I edit a thumbnail without changing the background?

Hi guys,

We are going to have potentially hundreds of boards and it would be great if we could identify them by the thumbnail/logo. Problem is changing the background often makes the Trello board itself a mess.

Is there not a way to change just the Thumbnail image?

It is not possible to just change the thumbnails, as they are automatically generated from the board background.
