How can I close or delete a board created by a former employee?

Hello,

I have a question regarding my Personal Workspace.

I allowed other members to create their own boards in my workspace. However, one of the members has left the company, and the board owner is no longer with the company, so I cannot ask them to close the board.

I am the Workspace Admin, but I cannot find the option to close or delete the board they created.

Could you please let me know how I can close or remove this board?

On Trello's Free plan, Workspace admins aren't automatically board admins and only a board admin can close or delete a board.

If the former employee was the sole admin, you can restore their company email to log in and promote yourself, temporarily upgrade to a paid Trello plan to take control of the board, or ask them directly to grant you access.

Note that Atlassian Support cannot manually override permissions. Always "Close" the board first to double-check its contents, as deletion is permanent!
