Hello,
I’m contacting you regarding my Trello account, which I’m currently unable to access because the account is registered to an old business domain that I no longer have access to.
I am the owner of the account and need to regain access to my existing Trello boards and information. Unfortunately, I’m unable to receive emails or verification codes sent to the old email address.
Could you please advise what information or documentation you require from me to verify ownership of the account and change the registered email address to my current email address?
I’m happy to provide any information necessary to confirm that I am the account owner.
I would be grateful if you could help me regain access without losing any of the existing boards or data associated with the account.
Hey @Lee Tapping ,
Just a note that this is a public community forum consisting mainly of end users (like myself).
For security and privacy reasons, Atlassian cannot manually change the email address associated with a Trello account or redirect password reset links, as access to the registered email is the primary method for verifying ownership.
However, there are a couple of things you can try:
The last known billing address and the type of payment card used (e.g., VISA, MasterCard).
The last 4 digits of the payment card.
Details of your paid Workspace, such as the Workspace name and names of other members.
For the second, I'd suggest reaching out to the support team here: Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing 👈
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tobi
