Help getting non text emails to show up inside of trello!

Is it possible to have HTML emails show up in your trello card description as plain text, as opposed to code?

Hi Brandon,

Not easily, unfortunately.

Trello will always take the full text that's provided by email, and enter that into a Trello card. Trello itself doesn't render HTML, so Trello is showing the content of the email exactly as it was received.

You'd need to first strip the HTML out of the email before sending it on to Trello—you might be able to do something like that with Zapier, which is a third-party service that connects various applications without any coding. This way, you could forward the email to Zapier to pull out the relevant text, and then forward that part on to Trello. You can check it out here: https://zapier.com/zapbook/trello/
