Hi there,
I have just had several email notifications that I was removed from 3 of my trello boards and that 1 was closed by someone I have no idea of. This person then emailed and said they didn't know how they were added to my board and were worried that they had been trying to remove themselves, but it must have warned that they will lose all of the content. They haven't responded back to me as to how they found themselves on my board, I'm guessing that we might have the same VA. I thought at first that the VA has made a mistake and added both to the same board, but looking back, it was me that created the board. So I should be the admin, but somehow this random person is. Even though looking back on all the activity history - there's no record of them being added and clearly shows as the first action - I created the board.
Has anyone had this happen, or know how I can change back to become admin of my own board please? This has really concerned me that it can even be a thing!
Many thanks in advance for any help or guidance,
Lisa
Hey, Lisa
Welcome to the community
Trello's search system allows users to invite others by typing their email address or Trello username. However, it's possible that when someone types a name to invite another user, they might accidentally add you to a board by mistake. Once they realize it was the wrong user, they may remove you from the board.
But since the details of your case are very different, can you share the URL of this board, I want to check on the system what exactly happened
Kind Regards
Alisson
