Google Drive Power Up is just an attachment, what happened?

The Google Drive Powerup used to have a great UI that would show folders and files contained with the linked folder. Now for the last month or more, it's just an dumb attachment hyperlink. What's happened to it, is it being fixed?

As it is, the Powerup is pointless, as it doesn't do anything you didn't already have.

Due to a recent bug on Google Drive Power-up, Google had to re-verify it. One of the changes was that when attaching Drive folders/files to cards, the original folder preview is no longer available as the API we were using to render them was considered "restricted" by Google.
