Thanks for your question!
After you install the Trello for Gmail add-on and authorize your account, a Trello icon should pop up on right side of your inbox, along the side panel.
Open an existing email (not create new email) and click the round Trello icon.
In the Trello side panel that opens, we'll suggest a board with similar words from the email or you can select any board and create a card with the content from your email.
Edit the card details while still in Gmail, inside the Trello side panel.
Scroll down a bit in the Trello side panel to click Add to create the card!

Thank you for responding. Unfortunately I don't see a Trello icon in my gmail (see screenshots).
