Github trello power up error: "no plugin handles this command"...

the github trello power up is no longer working for me. 

When I look in the console output of chrome, I see this error as I try to click on "settings" button of the github power up...

Failed to get authorization-status. {error: "no plugin handles this command", id: "..."}

instrument.js:110

I have tried clearing the github.trello.services cookies and cache and that does not help.

If it helps I upgraded chrome yesterday and not sure if that is related. I have chrome Version 86.0.4240.111 (Official Build) (x86_64)

It's the same issue and the answer does not help me either.
