I'm trying to set the gauge limits in hours for a time-formated field. I tried to set the value limits for example 0 - 5 and 0h to 5h, but still the Gauge display is treating this as an integer.

Are you referring to "Gauge" as something that you use with Trello? I'm not familiar with this tool, but if it is related to your usage of Trello, send through screenshot and we can take a look.
