Feature request - meta information for boards or lists

Hi,

Can we have the ability to add meta information, for boards or lists? Like a summary description for the board or list’s purpose, or reference information that is useful for all 

I want to add this meta information a lot, often as summaries, subtitles or hyperlinks for me, I think this is an optional item with high value
