Please make this "thing" possible to disappear.
Imagine you have a work desk that is very busy, and in the very center you have something constantly in your eye that has no purpose for you, taking away important real estate, space and attention.
This bar that was introduced in the latest design update is such a thing. Basically I cannot access things that are relevant for me, see blocked "+ add a card" behind, as something that I never use is right in front.
This element is too big for what it does, to visually disturbing and has a much to prominent prime real estate on the desktop for too little benefit and use. There must be a much more elegant solution for what you try to accomplish. I bet I am not the only one that feels about it this way.
Hi!
The bar doesn't actually block + Add a card — that button sits above it, so scrolling and adding cards works as usual. See the screenshot. If it looks different on your end, a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R) or clearing the cache should fix it.
As for hiding or moving it — not possible right now. The Trello team is aware it bothers people and has acknowledged it, but no timeline on a fix: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Trello-questions/Moving-the-bottom-navigation-bar/qaq-p/3093265
