I want to use the new 'Email Report' functionality and using the interface I created the following request:
If I hit the 'Run' button, I get an email but no cards listed.
I tried to use different filtering options, have a single filter. I never get cards in the email.
The only way I get cards is by using one of the default email reports template, which I am not interested in.
Also note that I do not want to use an Add on, just get the Email reports to work.

The action ask you to create a report variable. Give it a name and add {$variable name} to the body of the email.
