Email notification leaves custom fields empty

In Butler I am trying to send an email notification with content from custom fields. The automation rule is

when a card is moved into list "Rejected" by me, send an email notification to "XXXXXXXX" with subject "Your application" and message "Hello {{$Name}}!"

The card I am testing contains a filled custom field with the right name:

However, the email I receive is simply "Hello {}".and I don't really understand what I am doing wrong. Any hint is highly appreciate.
