Email change verification e-mail is not coming through

Hi all

I'm trying to change the email address linked to my Trello account because I deleted the old one.

The last step is to verify the new email address, as shown by the message below:

Update pending verification

We just need you to check your email xxx@gmail.com and to verify it’s you and complete the update.

With the options to "resend email" or "undo email change"
I tried the "resend email" option several times but didn't get any verification emails.
How can I get past this?

If you're not receiving the Trello verification email to update your email address, try these steps:

  1. Check Spam/Junk Folder – The email might be mistakenly flagged as spam.
  2. Review Email Filters – Ensure no rules are redirecting or deleting Trello emails.
  3. Whitelist Trello Emails – Add no-reply@trello.com to your safe sender list.
  4. Check Email Server Settings – If using a company email, ask IT to verify emails aren’t blocked.
  5. Try an Alternative Email – Use a different email address to see if you receive the verification.
  6. Contact Trello Support – If the issue persists, reach out to Trello Support for further help.

Following these steps should help resolve the issue. If not, Trello Support can provide additional troubleshooting.

Hi Hrudu

Thanks for your help. I went through your suggestions.

  1. There was nothing in the spam folder.
  2. I don't have any filters set.
  3. I whitelisted the trello email address.
  4. I'm not using a company email.
  5. I tried an alternative email and that worked, but I don't want to keep my Trello account linked to that email address.
  6. I'll try contacting support next.

Hi again Hrudu

I tried contacting support, but since I only have the free version of Trello, my only options seem to be to Explore Community or View Documentation. See below.
