I am trying to set up a rule that will send an email when a card is moved into a list. No issues getting it to send but the formatting is not coming through correctly.
The email message is as follows:
However the email I receive is missing the single new lines:
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Hi John,
Could you please try add a space between each \n to see if that formats correctly?
For example:
Please call off the following piece of equipment: \n\n Description: {{%Description}} \n PO Number: {{%PO Number}} \n Equipment #: {{%Number}}
I hope that helps!

Hi John, theres appears to be variation in how different email clients format text where the \n isn't always honored. We have an internal improvement ticket logged for this, and I've tagged this post as a +1 to the issue.
For now, a workaround I can suggest is to add a second line break where you currently have single line breaks. For example:
Please call off the following piece of equipment: \n\n Description: {{%Description}} \n\n PO Number: {{%PO Number}} \n\n Equipment #: {{%Number}}

Thanks for the response, I will work with that for the time but it is not optimal. Is there a way to be notified on updates of the improvement ticket?

Hi John,
I can understand that it's not optimal. As the improvement ticket is tracked internally, if we do have any updates we can reach out to you directly.
Cheers!
