Can you log in to your account, or do you need to do verification first?
If you can log in, and since Trello uses your Atlassian account credentials, the email address is managed through your Atlassian account settings.
So, check your email preferences:
If it’s already enabled, try deselecting and reselecting it before requesting another verification email. You can find more details in this Atlassian support article.
If the email still doesn’t arrive, the address may be on Atlassian’s email suppression list following a previous bounce. In that case, please contact Atlassian Support: Pricing, Billing & Licensing (you don't need a paid subscription there to raise a ticket). 🎟️
Cheers,
Tobi
Hi, @Michelle! 👋
I can imagine how stressful this access issue must be. Since we are here in the community, I don't have access to your system to fix this for you, but I can share a few troubleshooting steps that usually do the trick! Jira rarely has issues sending these emails, so it's likely just a simple block.
See if these 3 steps help you unlock your access:
1️⃣ Check your Spam folder: Sometimes, security filters send Atlassian verification emails straight to the Junk/Spam folder.
2️⃣ Try logging directly into Jira: Access the login page normally using your new email address. If the account isn't verified yet, the screen usually displays a "Resend code" button.
3️⃣ Contact your company's Jira Admin: If the steps above don't work, the best option is to ask your internal system administrator to resend the invite. They can also quickly double-check if there was a typo when the new email was registered.
I hope one of these tips helps you get back into the system soon! Let us know here if it worked out.
Good luck!
