Editing trello card in Microsoft Teams app

Since early July, I’ve been unable to edit any Trello cards on a board embedded in Microsoft Teams. The board loads fine, and I can view cards, but I can’t make any changes—editing simply doesn’t work anymore.

Could this be related to the Trello Beta features? Has anything changed recently that might have affected the integration between Trello and Teams?

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

OK. Thank you for your response. We’re planning to move our team’s workflow to Trello and purchase several licenses, and we were in the testing phase. When can we expect this issue to be resolved?

The team is actively investigating this, but we haven't been able to consistently reproduce the issue yet. That's the hold up right now—once we can reproduce this, we'll start on the fix immediately.

For what it's worth, I'm having the exact same issue. I am running Windows 11 and have the most current version of Teams as of today (I cannot find the version #). Additionally, When I added the Board to my Teams channel, the board in the Trello web version stopped being editable as well - I had to close the browser and reopen Trello for the edit buttons to come back. Quitting and reopening Teams does not help.

We're working on a fix, but in the meantime, we believe we've identified a workaround.

With the board open in Teams, could you please click on the "Logout" link in the top right corner, as shown here, and fully log out of Trello from Teams?

After you do that, could you also log out of Teams entirely (by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner) and close the Teams app?

When you reopen Teams and log back into both Teams and Trello, that should cause the board to become editable for you again. Please let me know if this gets it working for you!
