Every time I paste anything into the comments or activity section, Trello duplicates the image, and I have to delete one each time. The new layout also makes the comments extremely difficult to read - the text is so small that I need either a very large screen or have to zoom in between 200% and 500% just to see them clearly.
Hi @Dino,
It sounds like you’re running into two separate issues: one with duplicated images when pasting into comments, and another with the readability of the new layout.
1. Duplicate images when pasting
This is a known behavior some users have reported since recent Trello updates. It typically happens when pasting images directly from tools like Snipping Tool, screenshots, or clipboard managers. Trello interprets both the embedded image and the clipboard data as separate attachments, which causes the duplication.
Workarounds:
Try uploading the image via “Attach file” > “Upload from computer” instead of pasting directly.
If you prefer pasting, you can paste into a text editor first, then copy again and paste into Trello, this sometimes strips the extra data.
Clearing your browser cache or trying an incognito window may also help identify if an extension is causing this behavior.
2. Comment text size / readability
Trello recently rolled out a new comment editor and layout that adjusts spacing and font sizes. If the text appears too small, you can:
Set a custom zoom for Trello under your browser’s site settings.
You can also provide direct feedback to Atlassian by clicking your avatar > “Help” > “Give feedback.” They are collecting feedback about the new design right now.
Hopefully these help for now, but I agree both of these are worth flagging to Trello’s product team, as the UX clearly needs refinement.
None of these options are helpful. Trello is supposed to be time saving. Going through extra steps to paste into Trello is not acceptable. I am working on a 40 inch screen At my office, however, my home computer has a 27 inch screen, and I am constantly adjusting the zoom level to barely make out text is unacceptable

Of course I understand, these were workarounds rather than long-term solutions. I think the best way is to reach out to Trello support team!
