The planner is a great feature. I connected my google calendar and until last Thursday (July 17th) I could drag&drop my to do's to it. Today (July22) it is not working, but it is asking for an upgrade plan - Can you help? did I do something wrong? I do not know what changed...
@Izabela Wiethaus as our Beta program is concluded, some of the new features remain available on all plans:
while other require a paid Trello plan:
Thanks for the info.
I need to check the quick capture feature. Up to now, I am sending emails to my inbox 🙃 to quick capture new tasks…

The reason you suddenly can't drag and drop tasks in the Trello planner is that this feature now requires a paid Trello plan. Up until recently, drag-and-drop scheduling in the planner was available for all users, but as of July 2025, it is limited to Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans only. Free-plan users can still view their planner/calendar but cannot use drag-and-drop to schedule or manage tasks in it. That is why you are now seeing an upgrade prompt—nothing you did caused this change.
If you want the drag-and-drop functionality back, you’ll need to upgrade your workspace to a paid plan. Otherwise, your current access will remain view-only, and this is expected behavior with Trello’s updated plan features.
