Does the @ symbol in new composer cause text issues?

I use Trello for social media production and I frequently use @ symbols in the copy. Since the new composer has been introduced, the @ symbol is now causing the text adjacent to it to disappear from view while composing, and won't let the text be copied and pasted to another platform either. Does anyone else have this issue?!

Hi Tori, sorry to hear that this is happening. I see that you also sent in a support ticket to which my colleagues have responded and they're already looking into the issue. 
I think it's best we continue the investigation over the support ticket and if the issue is pending you can please let me know here.
