Does moving a mirrored card to another list move the original card on the original board?

I have created a board for myself to store cards that I'm tagged on. I've been mirroring cards that I'm tagged on other boards to my board. I would like to visually see the progress of these mirrored cards on my board by moving them to lists that denote this (in progress, waiting on client, done, etc). Here's my question. If I move a mirrored card on my board to another list, will it move or affect the original card somehow? I want to make sure before I start moving mirrored cards. Any input would be welcome.
