Delete a card

I work off the desktop version of Trello - never really used the App. I have never been able to delete a card. Occassionally I create a second card and then realise I have two of the same. I can see how to Archive but there doesn't seem to be an option to delete.

I assume you're using the new version of Trello.
The only way I know is:
1. Go to the back of the card.
2. Click the three dots (Actions).
3. Click Archive > The card will be archived and the Delete option will appear.
Done.

Thank you for your reply. When I click on Archive there is no option to delete. I understand your thinking around archive to keep a card in case you want it back later. Stil a simple Delete button would be helpful I think.

@Ross Bartholomew Yes the archive button is your go to, once you click archive, it will then ask if you wish to delete - I find just archiving still allows you to bring that card back onto the board should you wish to do so, where deleting it is no longer tracible!
