Looking for a way to increment a custom field every day. Unfortunately, the only date-related triggers don't have outputs related to custom field increments.
Ex: I'd like to increase the "number of days in training" custom field each day and have that visible on the front of every card, but can't figure out how to make that rule. Is there a shortcut or basic functionality I'm missing?
Thanks!
You can do this using a due date command.
Use the due date command: "When a card is due, increase the custom field "number of days in training" by 1 and move the due date by 1 day"!

I have a similar question. I want to track the number of days that things are on my Trello board from the time they are created until completed, regardless of which column they are in. Kind of like the orders on the screen at McDonalds, how long have they been here. It would be cool if it was minutes, hours, and days, but I will settle for days. Do I use as you have suggested above? Can I lock this field so that it can not be edited? I want it to track from creation to completion. Thank you!
