Dashcards - Other Board Members Cannot "Explore & Edit"?

Greetings Community!

My team recently started using the Dashcards Power-Up - it is fantastically useful!  However we hit a snag, and I'm trying to troubleshoot.

 


 

Question

Is there a sharing/access setting I'm missing to allow another Board Member to edit a Dashcard after I create it?

Or does Edit access depend upon the user who created the Dashcard?

 


 

Context

I created a Dashcard for each team member - to summarize & focus on key activity.

In my view of Trello, I can see a button (when the Card is open) called "Explore and edit".  This brings up a great summary/dashboard-type window, with ability to change filters/parameters.

However, even though I toggled on the "Allow members who can view this card to explore", my team reports they cannot Edit the Dashcard parameters.

Regarding your question about Dashcards, currently, they can only be edited by the person who originally created them. This is a known limitation, and our engineering team is aware of the interest in changing this.

To support your request, I have taken the following steps:

  • Added a "+1" on your behalf to the existing suggestion to show user interest.

  • Linked this discussion as an internal comment for our engineering team to reference when reviewing feature priorities.

As a next step: I highly recommend visiting the link above, logging in with your Atlassian account, and clicking "Start watching this issue" in the right-hand panel. By doing this, you’ll receive email updates whenever there’s a status change, and "vote" for the issue, which helps our team better understand the demand for this functionality.
