Customize customized fields in a list

I have a board called Process Templates. I created custom fields for the first template (which is a list of cards). I'm now creating a second template/list. When I uncheck "show label on front of card," the field is still visible. I've refreshed Trello and my cache. 

When I re-order the custom fields in the second list, the fields on the first list are reordered as well. 

Can I customize per list instead of board, or do I need a separate board? 

(I'm creating templates as lists on the board for use with Processes for Trello.)

Custom fields doesn't allow you to vary the fields per card (or per list).  Depending upon what you need, you may find that Amazing Fields gives you some or all of what you need.  Be sure to checkout https://docs.amazingpowerups.com/ as well to see how to adjust field visibility per card.
