Creating an automation where the trigger is checking off a specific item on a checklist

I can't seem to get this to work...any help appreciated.

Basically, once a specific item in a checklist is ticked, I would like that to trigger moving the entire card that includes that checklist to the top of another list on the same board. I would additionally like to add a due date to that card for 24 hours into the future.

Even if I strip down my command, I can't seem to get the trigger to cause anything to happen...much less the two actions I am hoping for.

@Babs Noelle that command looks correct, have you tried with differently named items/list etc.? Like for example can you create a checklist item called "test" and trigger like:

when the "test" item is checked post comment "checked"

and start from something that simple and build it up?

On a whim, before erasing everything I had written, I changed the name of the checklist item in question…by simply replacing the colon with an equals sign.

I know that this is an older post, but I'm wanting to do something similar. Would you mind sharing how you went about this? I'm very new to trello and have been tasked with making a checklist task - once check - email or notify the next person in line in the list. 

I was also hoping to make it so one can not check any item past a given checklist item, until said checklist item is approved, but i can't seem to find that functionality at all. 

Thank you in advance for any insight you can provide. i promise to be a huge contributor once i get some Trello under my belt!
