Creating a card template that works across 2 boards?

Creating a card template that works across 2 boards?

I have created a template card but would like it to work & continue to be updated across 2 boards. I have tried copying the template from one board to another but it looses information or locks the custom fields so they are not editable. I've tried filling out the card in full & then copying that to another board but the same happens.

Jake, it might be that you are copying that card to a board in a free workspace. Custom fields are only available in paid workspaces.
